35 UT Permain Basin Students Sworn In As Volunteer Deputy RegistrarsDRB Media Communications Digital
Odessa, Texas/September 14, 2022-35 UT Permian Basin honor students were sworn in on Tuesday, September 13th as Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars. The Ector County Elections Office has been a partner with Professor Chris Stanely and UTPB Honor Students since 2016.

These 35 UTPB Honor Students are able to go out into the community and do voter registration outreach events, as well as register people to vote.

A goal of the new Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrars is to get the younger adult demographic to register and go out to the polls and vote.
