Cal Hendrick Announces His Candidacy for Mayor for the City of Odessa

Odessa, Texas/July 10, 2024-Cal Hendrick announced on Wednesday, July 10th to a full house of supporters at City Council Chambers his candidacy for Mayor for the City of Odessa. Mr. Hendrick gave a brief outline of issues affecting the city and its residents.

Many entrepreneurs and small business owners are finding it difficult to set up business in Odessa due to impact fees, permitting and over regulation. Cal Hendrick believes that Odessa has to be competitive and will look at city ordinances that hinder new business growth.

Congressman August Pfluger Hosts Town Hall Featuring Chairman Jim Jordan at the Odessa Marriott & Conference Center

Odessa, Texas/April 4, 2024-Congressman August Pfluger, Texas 11th District hosted a Town Hall featuring Congressman Jim Jordon of Ohio 4th District on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Congressman Pfluger and Chairman Jordan discussed their efforts to fight government corruption.

Odessa, Texas/January 18, 2024-Jimbo’s Garage in Odessa, Texas recently hosted the Republican Precinct Chair kick-off, where approximately 150 people came out to the meet and greet event.

Former U.S. Congresswoman Texas District 34, Mayra Flores Speaks at ECRW Club Luncheon

Odessa, Texas/February 15, 2023-The Ector County Republican Women held its February meeting at the Odessa Country Club. This month’s featured speaker was Mayra Flores, former U.S. Congresswoman, Texas District 34.

Mayra Flores immigrated from Mexico with her family at the age of 6. Ms. Flores says she understands why people from other countries want to come to the United States.
