Odessa, Texas/January 21, 2024-Meals on Wheels of Odessa partnered with H.E.B. to provide sauces for seniors. 

H.E.B. donated 500 bottles each of ketchup, Mayonnaise, Bar-B-Que Sause, and other condiments.

H.E.B. donated time to help regular volunteers at Meals on Wheels of Odessa to get the products delivered.

Odessa, Texas/November 29, 2023-Meals on Wheels Odessa held the Giving Tuesday Kick off the end-of-the-year giving campaign.

Earlier in the year, John Herriage, owner of Copper Key Realty discussed with Craig Stoker, Executive Director of Meals on Wheels on contributing to the program.

Meals on Wheels of Odessa challenges Odessa and Ector County residents and other local businesses to help contribute to match the 50 thousand dollars that Copper Realty has donated.

Meals on Wheels Partners with the Red Cross to Deliver and Install Smoke Alarms

Odessa, Texas/November 19, 2023-On Saturday morning, November 18th, Meals on Wheels partnered with the Red Cross to provide smoke alarms to the elderly, disabled and homebound clients of Meals on Wheels in Odessa and Ector County.

Volunteers were issued the necessary tools and a quick training session by representatives of the Red Cross on how to install smoke alarms in various areas of the client’s home.

The goal of Meals on Wheels of Odessa is not only providing a meal, but also helping their clients with much needed services through partnerships.

Odessa, Texas/December 3, 2022-On Sunday, December 3rd, members from the Sewell Family of Companies team helped Meals on Wheels of Odessa deliver Senior Boxes, from the Commodity Supplemental Food Program.

Meals on Wheels serves a nutritious meal to homebound seniors and the disabled Monday thru Friday in partnership with Odessa Regional Medical Center which prepares the meals.
