UT Permian Basin Expanding its Direct Admissions program for high school Seniors entering College
Odessa, Texas/December 12, 2025-The University of Texas Permian Basin is expanding its Direct Admissions program for high school seniors entering college in Fall 2026. This year, the University has offered automatic admission to 2,198 seniors across seven partner school districts, a notable increase from last year’s 1,680 offers

Through Direct Admissions, qualified seniors receive a guaranteed acceptance to UT Permian Basin eliminating the need for an Apply Texas or Common App application.

Qualified OC TECH and Odessa Collegiate Academy, the Early College High School Seniors received their UPTB Admissions Letter at a special ceremony at the Saulsbury Conference Center at Odessa College.
