Odessa, Texas/September 25, 2022-Paint the Park held its 4th Annual Cancer Awareness event at Memorial Gardens Park. This community event offers support to those families who have lost loved ones to cancer.

West Texas Gifts of Hope partners with Medical Center Health System, Texas Oncology, Texas Tech, ORMC, and with other nonprofit organizations to help cancer patients navigate to services and other resources. West Texas Gifts of Hope offers free lodging at HOPE HOUSE located at 700 W. 1st Street, to families who have loved ones going thru cancer treatment.

Paint the Basin featured a walk and run at Memorial Gardens Park. Odessa Police Department Chief Michael Gereke and Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffs honored those passed away from cancer and recognized cancer survivors during a special ceremony
