Odessa, Texas/November 28, 2021-The Black Chamber of Commerce of the Permian Basin held the 2nd Annual Turkey Leg Tussel Domino Tournament. Approximately 20 competitors gathered at the activity hall at St. James Baptist Church in central Odessa.
The Black Chamber of Commerce of the Permian Basin associates with smaller non-profit organizations to help with financial assistance through fundraising events.

Domino players competed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Competitors also received participation trophies.

The Turkey Leg Tussle Domino Tournament was able to raise $25 Hundred Dollars through domino table sponsorships for the Woodson Young Scholars Academy, that serves the southside community though daycare services for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age, including children 11 years of age.

The funds will also be used for upgrading the daycare, and acquire learning materials for enrichment programs at the Woodson Young Scholars Academy.
