MARTIN COUNTY/STANTON, TEXAS/AUGUST 9, 2021-REPRESENTATIVES WITH MARTIN COUNTY AND THE CITY OF STANTON, HELD A RIBBON CEREMONY AT THE BOB DEAVENPORT MEMORIAL FOOD PANTRY FOR MARTIN COUNTY. THE NEW PANTRY WILL SERVE THOSE FAMILIES THAT ARE IN NEED WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.

BOB DEAVENPORT STARTED THE FOOD PANTRY IN THE CLOSET OF HIS CHAMBERS WHEN HE WAS THE COUNTY JUDGE AND THE PANTRY EXPANDED TO A HOUSING UNIT THAT HE OWNED.

THE NEW FOOD PANTRY WILL PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHING AND KITCHEN ITEMS AS WELL AS HELP WITH UTILITES TO THE NEEDY OF THE MARTIN COUNTY/STANTON, TEXAS COMMUNITY.

SOME OF THE FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE WEST TEXAS FOOD BANK AND THE MARTIN COUNTY COMMUNITY

THE BOB DEAVENPORT MEMORIAL PANTRY WILL SERVE MARTIN COUNTY, STANTON, GRADY AND ACHERLY.
